The Frazer & Jones Company is a high quality ductile and malleable iron foundry that has been in business for over 150 years in Syracuse, New York. Our foundry produces approximately 90 million castings per year. These high quality castings range in weights from ounces to twenty five pounds. We are a world leader in the production and supply of underground roof expansion anchors and components for the mining industry. In addition, we also supply the industrial markets including automotive, natural gas, electrical, utility, rail, construction and tool industries.
Malleable & Ductile Iron
In addition to ductile iron, our foundry produces ferritic, martensitic and pearlitic grades of malleable iron and has a net casting capacity of 15,000 tons. We offer the level of expertise that comes with over 150 years of foundry operation. Illustrated are typical castings that Frazer & Jones routinely produces to ASTM specifications. We have the ability to produce castings from ounces to 25 lbs with medium to high volumes with finishing capabilities in machining & Assembly. Facilities & Quality Systems
The Frazer & Jones Company is one of the largest Ductile/Malleable foundries in the country. The present facility covers almost 210,000 square feet and currently employs 180 people. The facility has complete in-house manufacturing, heat-treating, finishing and quality control capabilities. Design expertise to service specific customer requirements. We use data driven process controls to deliver competitive pricing. Superior Quality performance (ISO 9001). Not only do we consistently manufacture Ductile/Malleable components of the highest quality, we also have advanced technology in place to verify that quality. The foundry is completely computerized: All administration, production control, manufacturing systems, and engineering including CAD/CAM systems.
