This week I visited Precision Enterprises (PEI), our sand cast foundry, in Somonauk, Illinois. PEI has been in business since 1947 offering quality aluminum and iron castings to a variety of industries. The foundry pours various aluminum alloys in sizes up to 150 pounds and offers Rota-Lift® and Sinto automated molding machines, and British Molding Lines (Cope and Drag machines).
In addition to their robust casting capability, Precision also has a full service machine shop with advacned CNC milling machines. The company continually invests in new equipment like the new Makino a71nx pictured here that was just added.
Jim and Mike Schrader were gracious hosts, as always. We remain excited about representing PEI and offering their excellent casting, machining, and finishing services to OEMs in our territory. We are also excited about working even more closely with Howard Walsh. He is a tremendous resource for us and for our customers.
